Hello please allow me to introduce myself. I am Debbie owner of Deb's Build A Candle also known as Deb's Build A Candle and Bath. I have just recently added the Bath division to my products. I have a passion for candles and the effect they can have on us mentally or sometimes even physically. I suffer from Fibromyaligia,like so many other Americans today. There is no cure for this disease, only steps in learning to live the chronic pain and fatigue. I have found for me that the smells of certain candles has helped at many times with controlling my pain. This is not a medical statement of any kind. However in the use of candles I had purchased at stores, candle companies and some Boutiques just did not give me what I was looking for. For instance I had trouble with them burning correctly, sometimes they would burn right down the middle wasting all the wax around the edges, or they just would not burn at all, or would only have scent for the first couple of lightings because they did not have the fragrance all the way through the wax. Now I don't know about you but I try and pinch every penny I can these days and I just really disliked wasting my money on something that I could not even finish.

So I took my passion for the love of candles and started doing research. I found there was a growing interest in Soy wax, so I proceeded to check it out. What I found was very refreshing, not only is Soy wax a lot cleaner, it does not contain petroleum products known as fossil fuels that are used in gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene and other products. With the burning of paraffin candles you are releasing these fuels into the air. The Soy candle does not have this as it comes from the pure and natural Soybean grown right here in the USA. In fact most of the Soy wax I purchase is grown right here in Indiana. So not only is the Soy wax a great clean product for the production of candles but you are also helping the American Farmers at the same time. We are providing a service with not only grown in the USA but mad in the USA also.

My candles are being made of nothing but 100% natural Soy wax. This is how you get that cleaner, fresher, more fragrant smelling candle. My candles not only have a great smell while burning but carry that same great aroma while not burning. Soy wax is a little harder working with than paraffin wax, so it took me awhile longer to find that perfect match with fragrances, colors, and the wicks so you get nothing but a great candle each time. All candles are made with the purest of uncut fragrance oils on the market, highest quality of Soy wicks, and superior quality coloring dyes. I use only the recommended amount of fragrance oils per weight of wax, so I will never claim that my candles are triple scented as this is impossible as the wax would just weep with the extra fragrance oil and make a mess unless you actually use three different fragrances. You will never find a leaded wick in any candles, I treasure your health and mine first and for most before anything. But you must make sure you maintain a wick height of 1/4" at all times as this will prevent smoking or sooting. Any candle can and will smoke or soot if the wick is to long. I offer all my candles in the recommended color for that fragrance but I welcome any color you might want that candle made in, so you are not limited to my colors or choices. All candles are made at the time of your order, your candle is not setting on some shelf or in a dark damp basement just waiting for your order. However I do have pre-made candles but they are always sold as sale items or specials.
